Board

The Board is a single Kanban view across the issue types you choose. Columns are your workflow statuses; you can group rows into swimlanes, filter, drag to transition, and act on issues in bulk. Your last board setup is saved, so it's there when you come back.

Choose what the board shows

Click the project name in the top-left to open the scope switcher. Pick Active sprint, any named sprint, the Backlog (issues in no sprint), or All issues. The active scope shows a filled dot, and a specific sprint appears as a coloured pill beside the title. The menu also has a Create sprint shortcut. A live count under the title shows how much is loaded (for example "Showing 250 of 1,340 issues").

Search & team avatars

The search box filters as you type, matching issue summary, key, and assignee name. A row of team-member avatars sits top-right - click one to filter the board to that person; click again to clear.

Group by

The Group by control changes the layout. In every mode the columns stay as statuses; grouping adds horizontal swimlanes:

• None - one board; drag freely across statuses.

• Type - a lane per issue type (Epic, Story, Task, Bug, Sub-task, then others).

• Assignee - a lane per person, with Unassigned last.

• Epic - a lane per epic, with No epic last.

Each swimlane header shows a count and a caret to collapse or expand the lane.

Columns & statuses

Each column shows the status name, a live count, and a category dot - TO DO IN PROGRESS IN REVIEW DONE. Columns paginate independently: scroll to the bottom of a column to load more. The board also enforces a maximum-issues cap (set in Settings) - when it's reached the header notes "limited to N". Click a status name to open that status's full list in Jira, which is also how you see everything beyond the cap. If a status has a WIP limit, the column shows a current / limit badge and a bar that turns red when exceeded.

Cards

Depending on your card-display settings, a card can show priority, type icon, key, flag, summary, a Blocked badge, labels, story points, sub-task progress, comment and attachment counts, a due-date chip (red when overdue), and assignee / reporter avatars. Handy click targets:

• Issue key - opens the issue in Jira.

• A label chip - filters the board by that label.

• Assignee avatar - filters by that assignee; reporter avatar filters by reporter.

• The ⋯ menu - per-card actions (below).

• The card body - opens the issue (or, in select mode, toggles selection).

Filtering

The Filters button opens a popover with a live "X of Y issues" count and Clear all. Categories: Assignee, Reporter, Labels, Priority, Type, Due date, Created, Updated (Assignee, Reporter and Labels are searchable; every category shows per-option counts). Due-date options include Overdue / Due today / Due this week / No due date; Created & Updated offer the last 24 hours / 7 / 14 / 30 days. Active filters appear as removable chips below the toolbar. You can also add filters straight from cards and avatars, and everything combines with the search box.

Drag & drop

Drag a card onto a different status column to transition the issue (the target highlights; dropping on the same status does nothing). When you're in a swimlane view, dragging across lanes changes that dimension too:

• Assignee grouping - reassigns the issue to that lane's person (or Unassigned).

• Epic grouping - moves the issue under that epic (or clears its epic in No epic).

• Type grouping - changes the issue's type to that lane's type.

Moves are optimistic - the card updates immediately and shows a spinner while saving.

Select mode & bulk actions

Turn on Select, then click anywhere on a card to select it (a checkbox also appears). With one or more selected, a floating bulk action bar offers:

• Move to <status> - transition all selected.

• Sprint - move all selected into an open sprint or to the Backlog (closed sprints excluded).

• Assign to me, Flag, and ✕ to clear.

Per-card menu & opening issues

A card's ⋯ button opens: Move to <status>, Move to sprint, Add / Remove flag, Assign to me, and Open issue. Opening an issue - from the key, the card body, or the menu - deep-links to it in Jira.

Export

The Export button gathers the issues on the board (across the selected issue types) and offers Export as PDF or Export as Excel. The export includes each issue's key, type, summary, description, status, assignee and reporter. It reflects what's on screen: the header sprint scope, your toolbar filter chips, and the search box all apply, across the issue types you've selected (all types if none are chosen). Clear them first if you want to export everything.

Density & the gamification strip

A density setting (comfortable / compact) tightens cards, and the summary line count is configurable. When gamification is enabled, an optional strip above the board shows the team goal / streak and your personal level, points and badges.
