The Bulk Calculator page in the app allows users to efficiently update selected custom fields across multiple issues. Users can update issues within selected projects or those returned by a specific JQL query. This tool supports updates for up to 20,000 issues in a single operation. Users can monitor the progress of their bulk update jobs and review any errors encountered during the process.

  • Bulk Updates: Update custom fields in up to 20,000 issues simultaneously.

  • Flexible Selection: Choose issues by selecting projects or using JQL queries.

  • Progress Tracking: Follow the job progress on the Bulk Operation Progress page.

  • Error Review: Identify and review issues that failed to update by clicking the warning icon.

 

 

Steps to Start a Bulk Operation

  1. Access the Bulk Calculator page

    • Navigate to the Bulk Calculator page

  2. Select Projects or Enter JQL

    • Select Projects: Choose one or more projects from which issues will be updated.

    • Enter JQL: Alternatively, input a JQL query to specify the issues to be updated.

Then click to “Calculate Field Values” button.

  1. Select Custom Fields to Update

    • Choose the custom fields you want to update in the selected issues.

  2. Confirm Selection and Start Update

    • Review the selected projects or JQL query and the custom fields to be updated.

    • Click the Calculate button below to initiate the bulk operation.
