If you are going to use Jira as an end user, you can take a look at this document.

a. Viewing Attachments

After installing Attachment Manager, you can view the attachments of the issue with a general panel like the one below.

b. Adding Attachment, Creating Folder, Download and Search Operations
If you have just created the issue or if the issue you are viewing has no attachments, you will see the following image.

1-Add Attachment
You can add attachments on the issue with the Jira button you add attachments and you can see it on the attachment panel without doing anything. We added ”Sample.doc” for example.

2-Add Folder
It is a folder add button to categorize attachments.
“Main Folder” and “Sub-Folder” have been added for the example.

3-Refresh
With the Refresh button, it allows you to instantly see the attachments you have added and the attachments and folders added by others simply by refreshing the panel.

When we do the three operations above, the screen will appear as follows, let's move the attachment we added into the file we want with the drag&drop operation.

Let's view our folder hierarchy with the “>” expand button next to the folders.

  • As you can see, we created our own folder tree on the screen simply.

4-Download

With the download button on the top right corner, you can download all attachments at once without folder structure.

5-Search Bar

It is designed so that you can quickly find the object you are looking for. In the first image below, there are 2 attachments under different folders. When "Sa" is written in the search bar, the attachments containing "Sa" are listed under their folder hierarchy.

c. Deleting Attachments

You can delete the desired folder or attachment using the “trash bin” buttons.
