Overview

Data Generator enables you to bulk create issues with random data in a few minutes. By using Data Generator, you can have the test environment you have always dreamed of in minutes.

Generating Issues

To generate issues, go to Generate Issues tab in Jira Settings → Apps → Data Generator. From this tab, You can select the necessary properties to create issues such as:

  • Project

  • Issue Type

 

If you want to create a sub-task, in addition to selecting project and issue type, you need to select the parent issue.
